Jennifer has lived in Ridgecrest since her father transferred from Miramar to China Lake. Unlike many young adults who left for the bigger cities and brighter lives, she wanted to be here. After graduating with a degree in finance from Cal State Bakersfield, she came home and started her career in financial services with Mark Moore. She and Mark founded Q4 WealthCare after joining Commonwealth Financial Network in 2001. As the junior partner, she acted as Administrator and sat in on every meeting with clients.

In 2021, in a friendly and planned manner, she bought out Mark. In 2023, they moved their practice to their new Broker Dealer, Parkland Securities, Inc.

Jennifer’s friendly smile and excellence as the impetus for Q4’s commitment to care never wavers. She loves her parents, Jane and Terry Kuhlman. She loves her sister—whose family live across the street. And she is married to Fernando Vargas, long time teacher now teaching Spanish at Burroughs. Jennifer was an instant mother to three great teenagers.

Jennifer loves dogs, making music, going to Mammoth or the coast, and most of all spending time with her family.
